I am not a religious person and have never claimed to be. I understand people feel the need to answer the questions why we are here and where we go when we pass. What I cannot fathom is how Christians, the religion that states "Do to others as you would have them do to you", could become Wall Streets biggest fans over their own followers. These people rally together against health care reform as if they are giving the nation the biggest Christmas gift imaginable, when really they are simply putting more money into the CEO of United Healthcare's pocket. This does not mean I am against the free market, I simply think that someone who needs assistance with their health should not be overlooked. Yet, the teabaggers march forward pushing an agenda they don't understand for politicians that are not sincere.
This video is a very sad depiction of what America has become when led by the right-wing agenda. It simply shows that this is the United Corporations of America with a slew of ignorant followers in line supporting their agenda. I would state otherwise, yet the public option is dying a very quick death. So with Laura Ingraham and Michele Bachmann by their side, the Conservative teabaggers will march forward pushing against health care reform. They will then claim this is the duty of the Christian party and wish "good will to men". I assume that a public option is not an offering to provide a solution for the "good will to men". A blind prayer to a god they have never met nor saw should solve that problem I guess.
I wish for just once people could open their ignorant eyes and actually witness what the politicians are saying versus what they are supporting. That would be a Christmas gift for me. Maybe god will pull through, but I doubt it.
