Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) was on the Senate floor today delivering a message regarding healthcare reform. He was trying to illustrate how this bill is going to take money from Medicare if it truly doesn't raise costs. He then led into a very positive message aimed towards the senior citizens of America:

"And if it doesn't raise costs and we're truly going to take this money from Medicare, what's it going to do to our seniors. I have a message for you: you're going to die sooner."

Coburn is just another illustrious example of a GOP member that can only  use bullshit and fearmongering to try and get his point across to the people he represents. These Republicans utilize talking points handed to them and then paint a picture that isn't anywhere close to reality. On one side of the argument they will say that Medicare is complete shit when it comes to healthcare coverage. In the very next point they state that if money is taken from that very same system that people will die sooner. It's like sitting on a damn Merry-Go-Round with all the spin these assclowns throw around on the House and Senate floors.
