Rudy Giuliani was a guest on Good Morning America today and was interviewed by George Stephanopoulos. The topic of discussion was terrorism and the former mayor of New York City thought it was the perfect time to rewrite history. This is the bullshit quote in question:

"What [Obama] should be doing is following the right things that Bush did. One of the right things he did was treat this as a war on terror. We had no domestic attacks under Bush, we've had one under Obama."

So, minus the shoe bomber, the DC sniper and random envelopes filled with Anthrax, to name a few, there were no domestic attacks in the United States during Dubya's presidency. It's great to know that Giuliani at one point had a security consulting firm. I can only assume that the company didn't actually help keep organizations safe, they just demonstrated how to create a flood of bullshit to try and spin what actually happened during the events.

It was a demonstration of excellent journalism by Stephanopoulos to not say one word to correct the former mayor with his claims. Bravo.
