Obama's First 100 Days

Today marks the 100th day of Obama as president. I think it's fair to say that he has done a very good job so far. Obama has had a lot to deal with early in in his presidency, primarily focusing on the economy. But he has also led efforts to begin the rebuilding of our foreign policy, set a date for the close of Guantanamo and brought back science into focus of the government. The latest swine flu epidemic has not helped either. A presidency is not a sprint, but more of a marathon. Only so much focus can be set on the "100 day mark". Obama has a press conference tonight where I believe he will speak to the accomplishments so far in his admistration. His success or failure will be determined over the course of the next few years, and we should all be hoping for the best. After all, the American people have the largest stake in this presidency.
