Newt Gingrich - We Are in the Greatest Battle Since the Civil War
I am not quite sure when Newt Gingrich completely fell off the wagon. The same man that Fox News is claiming might have a presidential bid in 2012 is now making completely irrational remarks. He started by comparing the current state of America and President Obama to a Nazi. Now he makes the determination that we are in the greatest battle since the Civil War.
The fearmongering on the Right never seems to end. The "Party of No" is still sticking to the plan of being the "Party of Fear". Tonight was no different for Gingrich on Sean Hannity's show. Here was the exact quote from Hannity:
"[Gingrich] argues that we are in a battle for the heart and soul of America. In fact, the greatest battle since the Civil War."
If this is indeed the largest battle faced since the Civil War, I simply have one question for Gingrich and Hannity. Would they be on the North or the South in that previous fight?
