A man dressed up as Santa Claus went into a Suntrust Bank in Nashville and held a teller at gunpoint. The sunglass wearing Santa took the money and drove away in his sleigh, which apparently could be a Nissan Altima. One witness explained that Santa was robbing the bank because he had to pay his elves. Nobody was hurt during the bank robbery.

I guess this proves that nobody is safe from the recession that occurred over the last couple years. Even Santa, who found enough money to buy a gun and sunglasses, somehow had to find a way to pay his workers. I guess Mrs. Claus was not up for opening a massage parlor where she would offer "extra services".
