Jon Stewart Takes on Goldman Sachs, the Silverdome and Three Congressmen That May Be Terrorists

Jon Stewart decided to be a little different with Thanksgiving around the corner and found several things not to be thankful for. He started off discussing how the Silverdome in Detroit was recently sold. When the dome was built it cost $57 million but somehow Detroit managed to sell the arena for only $583,000 at an auction. Stewart explains the Silverdome was purchased for less than a one bedroom apartment costs in Manhattan.

Goldman Sachs was the next target on the list who recently apologized to the American people for participating in things that were clearly wrong. They then decided to invest $500 million in small businesses. According to Stewart:

"Actually, all the money is going to one small business called Gold Man-Sacks. Apparently they make sacks that a man would use to hold his gold."

The best part of the segment was when Jon Stewart began talking about three different Congressman that have recently warned America about the threat of the terror trials in New York. John Shadegg, Michael McCaul and Louie Gohmert were all on the nutjob list spewing ridiculous thoughts out of their mouths. Stewart was right there to call them out with a snack and a juice box in his hand. He even found time to give an analogy involving an ice cream truck filled with crocodiles.
