Jon Stewart interviewed Lou Dobbs tonight regarding his departure from CNN. Stewart started it off with a Mexican Mariachi band in true Daily Show style. The Daily Show host asked Dobbs why he left CNN and whose decision it was to part ways. He admitted in so many ways that it was CNN's choice because they want to move towards "middle of the road journalism".

The meat of the interview really began when Stewart began firing back at Dobbs. This started when Stewart called out the ex-CNN host for the fearmongering that began once Obama took office. Even though not much has really changed in policy, the media has tried to paint the picture very differently. This quote puts it into perspective:

"Why do they always catch up to the fears during Democratic administrations. It feels like all the people that want limited government really just want government limited to Republicans."
