Rep. John Shadegg made some shocking remarks yesterday on the House floor regarding Mayor Bloomberg's daughter possibly being kidnapped. This was a shock-and-awe statement in response to President Obama putting detainees on trial in New York City. Well, Shadegg was scheduled to have an interview on MSNBC to discuss these remarks but he conveniently had a meeting and was not able to show up. MSNBC offered several different ways for the Arizona Congressman to respond regarding the statement he made but they were unable to get a hold of him.

Make a fearmongering statement to get a reaction and then don't follow up on those comments.........

I am hoping that he really did have a meeting to attend and Shadegg eventually mans up to the statement or apologizes.
