How Many People Protested Health Care Reform at Capitol Hill? Ask Fox and They Throw a Number Out There

Fox News is almost more out there when it comes to accurate news reporting than The Onion. There was this MASSIVE Capitol Hill protest today against health care reform led by Michele Bachmann. How many people actually attended the event exactly? Who the hell gives a shit, Fox News will throw out a random number and people will believe it.

Here are two clips that illustrate this point. We will start with Hannity and his incredibly accurate estimation. He starts off with the fact that nobody actually organized this teabagging event and people just showed up via word-of-mouth. Then, Bachmann estimated between 20,000 and 45,000 people showed up to the event. I am assuming by this estimation that Bachmann got a 250 on her SAT test.

Greta Van Susteren, during a different show on Fox, interviewed Stephen Moore who was bitching about the government not posting the health care bill for people to read. To him, Speaker Pelosi showed complete arrogance by not giving the people a chance to read the bill. I agree that Americans should have the ability to read the bill, but I would love to debate the Patriot Act with Moore at the same time. Nevertheless, during the conversation, the protest on Capitol Hill was mentioned again. What was Stephen Moore's estimation on how many people were there? 50,000 of course. By the end of next week we will have reached six figures for sure. Shit, for all I know, I was there myself. I don't know if Fox News actually has footage of that, but I am guessing the count could go higher than the US population.
