Countdown had fill-in host Lawrence O'Donnell tonight but still could not avoid the Sarah Palin coverage that was all over the media. The topic that was discussed was whether or not there would be a Palin/Beck ticket come 2012. This came about from a question asked of Palin by Newsmax. O'Donnell invited guest Richard Wolffe to talk about whether or not this would be an actual reality.

They came to the same determination that I thought myself, it would be a fearmongering platform that would be also be a wonderful joke for every American to witness. Sure, some people would support these candidates, but at the end of the day it would be like a ferris wheel when you were seven. It's fun as hell for the most part but for a few moments it's scary as shit.
