Palin was all over the news this week with the release of her new book "Going Rogue". Colbert decided to jump in the action and give his thoughts towards Palin and her new book. In "The Word" segment titled "Grand Old Pity Party", Colbert discussed how Palin should be the leader of American and how nothing that happens is ever this countries fault.

Colbert believes just like America, nothing is ever Sarah Palin's fault. From the Katie Couric interview to losing the election, Palin can not be the one to blame for anything. This quote pretty much sums it up:

"And the fact this book is a steaming pile of shit, also not her fault. It was ghost-written by someone named Lynn Vincent."
