When President Obama mentioned that Bobby Jindal was present at his town hall meeting the audience began to boo very loudly. I was not very surprised when the people did this because it is not a good idea to blatantly say that you are against the stimulus and then go ahead and take the money. It's also generally a bad idea to be completely against volcano monitoring when you govern a state that was hit by a very large natural disaster.
Nevertheless, Obama made a point to many politicians out there on how to take the high road. After the booing commenced, Obama explained to the people at the University of New Orleans that Jindal is doing a good job and working very hard. The President also made a joke against himself stating he gets booed all the time. I don't know if I agree that Jindal is doing a good job, but it's still nice to see Obama coming to the Governor's defense.
