I didn't realize until Obama was elected as President exactly how crazy this nation is. People are convinced that he is the Muslim Antichrist and his entire job is to turn the country into Nazi Germany. That last sentence literally sounds insane, but so is the fact that so many people don't even believe that Barack Obama is a United States citizen. Maybe this would just be left to the fringe groups that are pushing a muzzled point, but it's not. Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity.......and there "godfather", Rush Limbaugh keep promoting this same view. To make matters worse, there are politicians that also back up these statements. All this leads to is the country focusing on the wrong subjects and simply joining the "Party of No". I guess my hope is that this shit is brought to an end. Maybe we can actually pass a bill, such as healthcare reform, that actually brings us into the industrialized world.

Even some in the media who seem to have a head on their shoulders are trying the fearmonger tactic. The latest is Lou Dobbs. He just stated the other day that the nation is under assault. I don't quite understand how trying to give every American healthcare is a negative thing. I guess that might take some money away from a billionaire healthcare CEO. That's American pride for you.

At the end of the day I just want people to put their Swastikas away and calm the hell down. Now is the time to actually put through some important legislation and I don't want a bunch of religious fringe assholes to ruin it. If enough American's keep that same hope we had in November of 2008, then I still believe that "Yes We Can".
