I can't stand to hear Senator Joe Lieberman speak anymore. Well, now I can look to Al Franken to jump in and stop the assclown from talking while I am watching C-SPAN. During his 10 minutes on the floor debating health care, Lieberman began to run over his allotted time. Franken spoke up and let everyone know that Lieberman was out of time. When he asked to have a couple of more minutes on the floor, Franken denied this request.

Senator McCain then spoke up in disbelief of what just occurred:

"I have never seen a member denied an extra minute or so, as the chair just did."

This is simply a case of Al Franken understanding that the American people don't like when a complete dicksmack is throwing out his ideas on the Senate floor.
