I never quite understood why people do completely stupid shit in order to break a Guinness World Record. I get the fact that some records may get broken due to natural events or just people being very skilled at an activity. It is a completely different scenario when you do something that is either very disgusting and/or blatantly stupid just to get on television for 10 seconds.

This is the case with 17 asshats from Ohio that decided to light themselves on fire at the same time to break a record. They shattered the old mark set in Spain when 12 dumbshits accomplished the same feat.
