Dylan Ratigan Jumps All Over Rep. Wasserman Schultz Regarding a Health Care Mandate with No New Options

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was interviewed by Dylan Ratigan today regarding health care reform. Ratigan brought forward an issue related to the stock prices of major health care providers stating they are rising due to the fact it is a monopoly industry. To add to the problem, there is now a bill being put forward that mandates the creation of new customers but does not add any new options for the people to choose from. Ratigan brought this question forward to the Congresswoman:

Al Franken Finally Shuts Senator Lieberman Up

I can't stand to hear Senator Joe Lieberman speak anymore. Well, now I can look to Al Franken to jump in and stop the assclown from talking while I am watching C-SPAN. During his 10 minutes on the floor debating health care, Lieberman began to run over his allotted time. Franken spoke up and let everyone know that Lieberman was out of time. When he asked to have a couple of more minutes on the floor, Franken denied this request.

Senator McCain then spoke up in disbelief of what just occurred:

Jon Stewart Slams Laura Ingraham and Tea Party Protesters for Citing a Holocaust Poem at a Health Care Rally

The teabaggers were out and about recently to continue their protest against anything the government may try and accomplish. In the last tea party protest of the year, the group set out to put their foot down against health care reform. Sure, everyone wants better health coverage at a lower cost without raising any taxes or having government intervention. Sounds pretty logical. This is quite a very accurate analogy as said by Stewart:

Colbert Satirically Rips Joe Lieberman for His Changing Stance on Health Care Reform

Colbert took on Joe Lieberman last night for his changing position on health care reform. After the Connecticut senator blatantly admitted he was opposing the Medicare buy-in even though he hasn't read the bill, Colbert quickly fired back his thoughts:

"It takes true political courage to oppose a bill when you don't know whats in it."

Colbert then proceeded to bust into a quick song dedicated to Joe Lieberman titled "For He's a Jowly Good Fellow".

Jon Stewart Takes on President Obama and His Weak Handling of Wall Street CEOs

In The Daily Show's ongoing segment "Clusterf#@k to the Poor House", Jon Stewart talked last night of the recent meeting in Washington to discuss the bailout. Now that the banks are doing much better, Obama needed to have a little talk with the CEOs of these companies to ensure that the money starts cycling back to the taxpayers that loaned them the money. Well, the CEOs from Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup were not able to make the meeting in person due to flight delays from bad weather. Stewart's take:

When Did Christmas Become a Holiday for Christians Killing Health Care Reform for Americans?

I am not a religious person and have never claimed to be. I understand people feel the need to answer the questions why we are here and where we go when we pass. What I cannot fathom is how Christians, the religion that states "Do to others as you would have them do to you", could become Wall Streets biggest fans over their own followers. These people rally together against health care reform as if they are giving the nation the biggest Christmas gift imaginable, when really they are simply putting more money into the CEO of United Healthcare's pocket. This does not mean I am against the free market, I simply think that someone who needs assistance with their health should not be overlooked.

Sean Hannity as reliable as always provided some comedic material for Stewart to utilize. This quote pretty much sums it all up:

Karl Rove is a Complete Hypocrite and He Can't Turn Off His Cell Phone - All on the O'Reilly Factor

Karl Rove was on the O'Reilly Factor and proved himself a complete hypocrite. He was upset that Obama stated that the executives on Wall St. were "Fat Cats". When O'Reilly stated that these big bank CEO's may make more money in bonuses then ever before Rove then agrees that these same people are in fact "Fat Cats". From there, Rove tries to spin it back onto the Federal Government to defend his position. Somewhere in the middle of all this, Rove apparently forgot to turn off his cell phone.
